Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using PrayVerse, you agree to these Terms of Service and to all applicable laws and platform rules.
Use of PrayVerse signifies acceptance of these terms for the duration of your access to the service.
Your use of PrayVerse through Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe, or another distribution or payment channel may also be governed by the terms and policies of that platform or provider.
Service Overview
PrayVerse provides Bible verses, prayer prompts, devotional reflections, reminders, wallpapers, widgets, sharing tools, subscription features, and related digital services operated by Big Whale Ltd.
Features may include daily verses, topic-based scripture, saved favorites, devotional chats, reminder scheduling, custom notification sounds, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, profile features, personalized themes, premium content, and other functionality that may evolve over time.
PrayVerse may impose usage limits, feature limits, storage limits, or access limits based on plan type, geography, technical capacity, abuse-prevention controls, or other operational requirements.
Accounts and Eligibility
Some PrayVerse features may require an account, current contact details, or an active subscription. You are responsible for account activity that occurs through your credentials.
You may sign in using supported providers such as Apple or Google. Your use of those sign-in providers remains subject to their own terms and policies.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current so that PrayVerse can provide the service and support effectively.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable law and platform rules.
Account Deletion
PrayVerse may provide account deletion tools in the app. Deleting your account may sign you out, mark the account for deletion, remove or disconnect eligible cloud-synced data, and restrict future sign-in with that deleted account.
Deletion may affect saved verses, devotional chats, profile data, widget settings, reminder settings, subscription access, and related account records.
Certain records may be retained where needed for billing, fraud prevention, dispute handling, platform compliance, security, backups, or legal obligations.
Permitted Use
PrayVerse grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for personal, household, devotional, and internal church or group use in accordance with these terms.
Use of the service must remain lawful, respectful of third-party rights, and consistent with platform policies, intellectual property rules, and technical safeguards.
Bible, Prayer, and Devotional Content
PrayVerse content is intended for personal reflection, encouragement, habit building, and spiritual practice.
For pastoral care, professional counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, emergency services, and guidance from your trusted faith community, use qualified providers and appropriate emergency channels.
You remain responsible for your religious, personal, health, financial, and legal decisions and for evaluating how any verse, prayer, devotional, reminder, or generated reflection applies to your circumstances.
Bible translations, scripture excerpts, devotionals, artwork, and audio may be public-domain materials, licensed materials, original materials, or materials supplied by service providers. Availability may vary based on language, region, licensing, product version, and platform requirements.
User Content
You retain ownership of content that you submit to PrayVerse, subject to the rights needed for Big Whale Ltd. and its service providers to host, process, transmit, store, display, and transform that content in order to operate the service.
By submitting content, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use that content with PrayVerse.
You grant Big Whale Ltd. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, transmit, store, modify, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, securing, improving, and supporting PrayVerse.
Generated or Personalized Results
PrayVerse may generate or personalize devotional text, prayer prompts, verse recommendations, artwork, reminders, or other outputs using automated systems.
Generated and personalized results may vary in quality, accuracy, completeness, theological framing, and usefulness.
You are responsible for reviewing generated or personalized content before relying on it, saving it, sharing it, or using it in a group, church, or public setting.
Device Features, Notifications, and Widgets
PrayVerse may provide notifications, alarms, widgets, wallpapers, saved images, sharing tools, profile image uploads, and related device features that depend on platform permissions and operating system behavior.
Reminder timing, widget refresh behavior, alarm behavior, notification delivery, image saving, and sharing options may vary by device, operating system, permission state, battery settings, network state, and platform limitations.
You are responsible for configuring device permissions, reviewing shared content before sending it, and respecting the rights of others when saving or sharing images, verses, prayers, or generated materials.
Restrictions
You may not misuse PrayVerse through unauthorized access, automated abuse, malicious interference, scraping, resale of restricted access, unlawful content generation, or attempts to extract source code, models, prompts, or protected systems except where law expressly permits.
You may not submit content that violates law, infringes intellectual property or privacy rights, contains harmful or abusive material, harasses others, impersonates another person, exploits minors, promotes self-harm, threatens violence, or is intended to bypass safety controls or platform restrictions.
You may not use PrayVerse to create or distribute deceptive religious authority claims, impersonation, spam, malware, unauthorized scraping, mass messaging, or content that violates app store rules or third-party rights.
Violation of these restrictions may lead to suspension, removal of content, cancellation of access, or termination of the service relationship.
Subscriptions and Renewals
Paid features may be offered as one-time purchases or recurring subscriptions. Pricing, billing cadence, trial availability, and renewal conditions are presented at the point of purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the rules of the relevant app store or payment provider.
Lifetime access, where offered, grants access to the paid PrayVerse features available for that product tier for the life of the service, subject to these terms, platform rules, service availability, and lawful product changes.
Subscription cancellation, renewal, billing timing, purchase restoration, and refund handling follow the rules of the platform or payment provider that processes the transaction.
Deleting the app or deleting an account may leave an active subscription in place until you cancel it through the app store or payment provider that manages billing.
Trials, Promotions, and Price Changes
PrayVerse may offer free trials, promotional pricing, introductory offers, coupons, or limited feature access at our discretion and subject to any conditions presented at the time of the offer.
Big Whale Ltd. may change pricing, packaging, feature availability, or subscription structure in the future, subject to platform rules and applicable law.
Refund requests are handled by the app store or payment provider that processed the purchase unless Big Whale Ltd. expressly provides a separate refund process for a specific purchase channel.
Intellectual Property
PrayVerse, including its software, design, branding, interfaces, artwork, curated content, and related materials, is owned by Big Whale Ltd. or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These terms grant access to the service and do not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Bible translations, scripture text, third-party devotional materials, fonts, audio, artwork, and other licensed materials may be subject to separate rights, attribution requirements, use limits, and license terms.
You may use PrayVerse outputs for personal devotional use and ordinary personal sharing, subject to these terms and any third-party content rights that apply.
Third-Party Services
PrayVerse may integrate with third-party infrastructure, analytics tools, notification services, payment providers, app stores, AI service providers where applicable, and other service partners.
Your interactions with those services remain governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Big Whale Ltd. is not responsible for the availability, pricing, functionality, or content of third-party services that PrayVerse depends on or links to.
App Store Terms
When PrayVerse is downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable app store terms, subscription rules, refund rules, and device platform policies also apply.
Apple, Google, and other app store providers may be third-party beneficiaries of the terms that apply to distribution through their platforms, to the extent required by their platform rules.
Service Availability
PrayVerse may evolve, pause, or discontinue certain features at any time as part of product maintenance, improvement, security response, or operational changes.
Availability may vary across devices, operating systems, hardware capabilities, widgets, notification systems, app stores, subscription providers, Bible content licenses, and regions.
Big Whale Ltd. may modify reminders, widget behavior, supported content, premium features, or supported plans to maintain service performance or align with business priorities.
Disclaimer of Warranties
PrayVerse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Big Whale Ltd. does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, complete security, theological completeness, or error-free performance at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Big Whale Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of PrayVerse.
This limitation applies to loss of data, loss of revenue, service interruption, account access issues, subscription issues, reliance on content, or any other damages connected to the use or inability to use the service.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to PrayVerse when we reasonably believe that a user has violated these terms, created security risk, misused the service, or acted in a way that could harm Big Whale Ltd., other users, or third parties.
Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and payment-related obligations, will remain in effect.
Changes to These Terms
Big Whale Ltd. may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or product changes.
Continued use of PrayVerse after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.
